Summertime 2011

Hello dear friends,

 

I haven't been accessing this page for a while, given that fb and twitter seem to make communications so much more accessible and, added to this - I've been very busy writing!

At last, my first novel has been realised. Sure, it's taken me a few years but the topic and core theme is very personal. It's about self esteem, it's about body image - but more importantly, it's about self love and healing.

So, now it's time for a final re-tweak (editing will probablay continue for a while), but it has been a wonderful challenge for me. and now it's time for family, friends and a bit of fun during this silly season.

Ongoing practice,

  1. Write a list of goals (achievable and realistic)
  2. Believe in your goals (dreams)
  3. Choose to own the little disappointments and setbacks, seeing them as merely a benchmark for doing something differently
  4. Always maintain a positive attitude,  if last year's goals weren't reached - are you closer to them?
  5. Stay focussed and keep moving; any action is better than procrastination
  6. Make up a gratitude list and check within to see if it resonates with what you believe, and with who you are right now. Are you grateful for your achievements no matter how small?
  7. Do you feel happy? If not, what needs to change?  How do you go about making positive change?
